Green Mountain Engineering, Inc., established in 1991, is an independent civil engineering consulting firm that specializes in private and municipal water, waste water, storm water and sitework projects.
The range of professional engineering services offered includes all phases of a project beginning with preliminary engineering and continuing through permitting assistance, final design, on-site resident representation during construction, start-up services and operator training.
The small business nature of Green Mountain Engineering, Inc., ensures close, personal contact between the key members of the consulting team and the client. Our present staff includes Alan Huizenga, President, P.E.; Project Engineers, Kevin J. Camara, P.E., Brad M. Washburn, P.E., Jamie L. Simpson, P.E., Justin J. Brouillard and Jacob D. Sprague; Engineering Technician, Benjamin P. Cayer; and Administrative Assistant, Theresa E. Charest. The staff has a wealth of experience related to private and municipal projects located in Vermont and New Hampshire, and have continuously demonstrated their ability to successfully manage small-scale to multi-million dollar projects.

Green Mountain Engineering, Inc., has developed working relationships with a network of specialty sub-contractors in areas such as hydrogeology, structural engineering, electrical/mechanical engineering, registered land surveyors, archeologists, and water and wastewater systems operators.

In addition to enhancing the engineering solution, this approach also minimizes the cost of project development, enhances task assessment, and enables process monitoring for both quality and budget control.
